When I am translating, I use firefox keywords to speed my search through dictionaries. If you have firefox already, follow the directions below and you'll be set up in a flash. If you don't have firefox yet, you can download it by clicking on the button on the right.

Setting Up Keywords with Firefox

Let's use WWWJDIC as an example.

1. Click to the page, and right-click on the text box marked "KEYWORD"
2. In the menu select "Add Search for this Keyword."
3. When the menu pops up, enter appropriate values into the "name" and "keyword" areas (eg. "WWWJDIC Search Keyword" and "jdic" respectively)
4. Click OK

Now that your keyword is set, type the keyword (eg "jdic") followed by the word you want to search for (eg "test") into the address bar of firefox. If you are successful, you should be directed to the WWWJDIC page displaying the definition of "test" in Japanese.
